I see how much emphasis women put on our 20s, but if you look at the passing time as an opportunity to get better at knowing yourself and what you want and what you’re capable of ….. your life continues to get better, not worse! The 10 years I look back on would have passed either way. Without even knowing it, I looked down a road with two paths. One where I took control into my own hands, advocated for myself and got to know my body and what I really needed. The other aware I kept making excuses, chose to remain comfortable and not challenge the Norm and just accept that feeling like crap was an every day occurrence for me. But what we don’t realize is that every single day we our faced with 1 million little moments of this exact same choice. At any age and any stage. That means today you have the choice to choose different. Look if I had chosen the second, I wouldn’t have the business I have today…. not just because of my deep personal connection to helping women heal and feel seen and live a better life of food freedom… but because learning resilience and discipline have been the most important tools in my founder journey #makingmindfull. And that’s true for my relationships as well. I wouldn’t have the relationship that I have today, feeling supported and loved and cheered for, because leaning to love myself is what allowed me to fully love another person.
