Some of the details behind my two part engagement party… Part one started at @lincontrobyrocco where 65 of our family members came together for a beautiful seated lunch curated by Chef Rocco Sacramone. Here we got a chance to celebrate with our elders, some of whom won’t be able to join us next year for our wedding in Rome. (Fun fact: I had my baptism, communion and confirmation all at L’incontro so this was truly a full circle moment.) Part two continued the party @greatsofcraft rooftop in LIC. Here friends from all different parts of our lives joined together to kick off our wedding celebrations. My goal here was to give everyone an incredible experience, hopefully enticing them to take the journey next year to Roma. While the party was more so set up as an open bar/dance party of course the food also took center stage. We brought in all of our favorite foods: sushi, Chinese food, pasta, pizza and burgers …. + ice cream, rainbow cookies, brownies and more!! I took on all of the planning, logistics and every single little detail for both events (from hand writing the pasta place cards to custom stickers/posters to welcome cocktails and more!) Seeing them come to life was so incredible and could not have been done without the help and support from my family (a big shoutout to my mom, dad, Lexi, my assistant Cypris and of course Fiancé Anthony + other family members who helped set up in a one hour crunch time in between events.) Also, a huge thank you to the incredible vendors and brands I worked with to bring this all to life!!!
