What a night that was 💜
Still thinking about the 5th Annual @womenempowermentawards from last Friday. So proud of my girl @___oliviapope for being nominated! PhD life is no joke and she’s out here doing the work and getting recognized for it. Nominated is a win, sis. I see you 👏🏾
And can we talk about the women in that room?? I got to share space with Anthaea-Grace Patricia Dennis, who graduated from university at 12 years old and is literally the youngest university grad in Canadian history. She’s now a Ph.D. Candidate pushing boundaries and doing incredible work.
Huge congrats to Ava Hill on her Lifetime Achievement Award! Former chief and an incredible leader who has spent years opening doors for so many. Your impact and legacy are truly inspiring 👑
Every table was full of women building businesses, leading communities, doing research and changing lives.
Left feeling honoured, inspired, and reminded that we really are stronger together. Congrats to every nominee and winner ✨
