Part 5 | SURVIVING TORONTO The last week has been a whirlwind!! I got a job!! It’s a 2 month graphic design and social media position and I’m starting on October 1st. This all came from me meeting a lovely stranger, saying yes to everything and just putting myself out there. Don’t be fooled! I’ve been rejected from 2 apartments so far so I’m still on the hunt for a place to live. The role (while I’m very grateful) is for 2 months so it’s not permanent but it is ✨Canadian experience✨ in my industry so that’s definitely a step in the right direction. Not too bad for someone who arrived to Toronto 3 weeks ago! I’ve had a load of you lovely people message me welcoming me to the city (I can’t get over the kindness) and asking to meet up! I’ve done my best to meet up with as many people as possible but as we all know there’s only so many hours in the day! I really value getting to know good people and spending quality time with people sooooo…🥁🥁🥁 I’m going to start organising group meet ups so we can all meet eachother and form connections together! I’ll keep ye all posted and make sure to let your friends know too! These hangouts are for EVERYONE!! Every gender, race, nationality and sexual orientation!! I ask that if you attend you treat people with kindness and respect basically exactly how you would want to be treated💛 Stay tuned for updates! 🇨🇦🌆 Toronto Has a Vibe No Other City Can Match It was my very first time visiting Toronto, and this city honestly stole my heart. ❤️ From the moment I arrived, I could feel that Toronto was different. It’s a huge city full of endless opportunities, amazing people, and incredible energy. But what impressed me the most was the nightlife. 🌃✨ When the sun goes down, Toronto comes alive. The streets are still full of people, the skyline lights up, and the city feels like it never sleeps. I’ve always heard that phrase about New York City, but Toronto gave me the same feeling. It truly feels like the Canadian NYC. 🇨🇦🗽 Now I can’t wait to visit New York one day and see how they compare.
