A 34-year-old #Texas inmate is pleading with a judge for his release after allegedly being sexually assaulted by another inmate while three others held him down.

According to court documents, the attack happened inside the Jack Harwell Detention Center in McLennan County and was captured on surveillance video. Three inmates have since been charged with aggravated sexual assault and engaging in organized criminal activity, while a warrant has been issued for a fourth.

The victim’s attorney, Mona Keathley, claims the assault occurred after a female jailer falsely identified her client as a pedophile to other inmates. She also alleges that two other jailers witnessed the situation and ignored his screams and cries for help.

Keathley says her client is now experiencing severe emotional distress and remains in segregation without adequate access to medical care, hygiene products or phone calls to his family.

The man was awaiting sentencing on a drug charge for which prosecutors had already recommended probation. The district attorney’s office says it does not oppose his release with GPS ankle monitoring while he awaits sentencing.

The strapback styles feature leather braided straps with metal hardware, and all nine are finished with a Giorgio Armani & Kith leather patch.
