The blinding violet flash of Megatron’s cannon illuminates the ridge above the smoking crater, where Firefly forces himself back onto his boots. Wiping a mixture of soot and blood from his ballistic mask, the faceless saboteur glints his eyes at the apocalyptic devastation below. Beside him, Dr. Mindbender is already frantically tapping commands into a digital wrist-pad, his cape fluttering wildly in the heat-rippled air. “Magnificent! Terrifying!” Mindbender shrieks over the roaring wind, his eyes wide with a maniacal brilliance. “But Cobra does not retreat! Unleash the vanguard!” With a synchronized, mechanical click, a legion of Battle Android Troopers (B.A.T.s) marches out from the thick smoke behind them. Their soulless, faceless visors glow a cold, artificial red as they raise their arm-cannons in unison. From the shadows of the rocky crags, a low chuckle echoes. Zartan steps into the light, his skin shifting back from a sunlight-burned blue to its pale, rugged tone. Behind him, the roar of modified chopper engines drowns out the groaning earth as the Dreadnoks—Buzzer, Ripper, and Torch—rev their cycles, weapon chains swinging, eager for a scrap. “Cobra Commander wants this sector cleared,” Zartan says, drawing a heavy combat blade. “Let’s show these overgrown tin cans how we do things in the swamp.” But they aren’t facing Megatron. Breaking through the ridge from the opposite side of the mining facility comes a convoy of toxic-green and purple heavy machinery. The Constructicons have arrived to secure their leader’s awakening. Scrapper, Bonecrusher, and Hook lead the charge, their massive diesel engines roaring as they plow through the outer perimeter walls. “Intruders!” Scrapper’s vocal processors boom over the din of battle. “Crush the organics!” “B.A.T.s, fire!” Mindbender screams. #toolwatchfriday #toolwatch #tacticalwatch #flectofriday #divewatch

DEVELOPING: The Browns will attempt to re-sign QB Deshaun Watson to a contract extension if he leads the team to the playoffs ✍️ Watson, who's set to become an unrestricted free-agent in 2027, would be interested in re-signing as he has a good relationship with the Browns' ownership, front office, and his teammates. Watson, 31, has thrown for 1,010 yards, 7 TD, and 2 INT with a 64.2 completion percentage in five starts this season. He's also rushed for 167 yards on 37 carries (4.5 YPC). Watson has led the Browns to a 3-2 record and has the franchise second in the AFC North entering Week 6. (via Mary Kay Cabot)
