I love how skillfully you handled the more organic-looking surfaces; they look very natural, despite the fact that they're aliens :P. What other color could you have used for the light effects on their carbines if you’d kept their wings the way they are? Why did you decide to use the same colors? I see this with quite a few artists—is it just easier that way, or does it work better compositionally? Thanks!

Those wings are super neat! I can relate with project; I’m batching nine (all of them, minus test figure)! They’re fun to paint!
