The Decision Nobody Wants To Make.

During my service, I learned that some decisions don't have a perfect answer. Sometimes, both options carry risk.

You can wait for more information. Or you can make the decision with what you have.

The hardest part isn't making the decision. It's accepting responsibility for it afterward.

That changed how I look at leadership.

A leader cannot always guarantee the outcome. But a leader can make sure the decision is:

Thought through.
Based on the facts available.
And owned completely.

Because leadership isn't about always making the right decision. It's about having the courage to make one when a decision has to be made.
