FT: Galatasaray 1-4 Barcelona

Galatasaray 1-4 Barcelona in Istanbul, and that is a seriously impressive Champions League win. 🔵🔴🔥 This was always going to be one of those difficult European away nights where the atmosphere is intense, the opposition are aggressive and the game can quickly become uncomfortable, and Barcelona actually did fall behind after Batrakov’s opener. But what followed was probably the most impressive part of the performance — they did not panic. Cancelo equalised before half-time, and then Barça completely took over after the break.

The second half was ruthless. Fermín put Barcelona ahead, Anthony Gordon made it 3-1 just minutes later, and Adeyemi finished the job with the fourth. Four different scorers, goals from different areas of the team and another reminder of how many attacking solutions this squad has. Even without Raphinha, Barça still looked capable of overwhelming a strong opponent away from home, and players like Gordon and Adeyemi continue to show how quickly they have settled into this team.

What also stood out was the mentality. Going behind away at Galatasaray could easily have turned into one of those chaotic Champions League nights, especially with the crowd fully behind them, but Barcelona stayed composed and trusted their football. Once they found the equaliser, the whole game changed. The passing became quicker, the movement sharper and Galatasaray simply could not live with the speed of Barça’s attacks in the second half.

And this result feels important beyond just the scoreline. Winning 4-1 away in the Champions League sends a message that Barcelona’s incredible domestic form is translating into Europe as well. They are scoring goals for fun, different players are stepping up every week and even when the game does not start perfectly, they have the confidence to completely turn it around.

A beautiful Mystic morning in the mountain Shire watching the sunrise with the moon waning.

The turquoise color from the damsel in distress of course it is absolutely stunning with the gold accents. It really picks up in the morning light richness of color. Also love how this course it is so comfortable to wear as a plus size woman.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over opposition protests against the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls on Tuesday. "14 parties coming together and managing to gather a crowd of 8,000 across a 1.5 km stretch cannot become the voice of India", Shah said.

Referring to the recent sweeping victory of the BJP in the Gandhinagar civic polls, Shah said that Rahul Gandhi needs to 'introspect' why his party has not won any election in Gujarat for the last 41 years, questioning whether Gandhi would blame SIR for repeated losses over four decades. Shah also 'warned' Rahul Gandhi to be prepared for a 'crushing defeat' in 2029.
