What in the world are we doing? Have we lost all standards?
Would you be happy paying 1.5% of your salary into a compulsory scheme for 40 years, with no option to opt out & you’ll never see a penny of it? 🤔💸 I’m a primary school teacher, single and without children. Yet I’ve spent almost 20 years contributing to the Spouses’ and Children’s Pension Scheme. Over a teaching career, that could amount to €40,000+! And if I never have eligible dependants, there may never be a survivor’s pension paid on my behalf. I’m not against protecting families. I’m questioning why we don’t have a choice. I believe this deserves a review and discussion at Congress. 📢 Whether you’re a teacher or not, does this seem fair? 👇 Comment your thoughts and SHARE to get the conversation started! €40,000+ is an illustrative estimate, not my actual contributions. Limited refund provisions apply. Zohran can not pull the SRG off of protestors without City Council passing the CURB Act. The bill can not come to a vote without a hearing. Currently oswaldfeliz (he shut off his mentions and comments) is purposely keeping the bill from having a hearing. If he is in your district please apply pressure. Other progressive city council members that refuse to sign on to this bill are @cm_encarnacion @cmshekar25 @cmshirleyaldebol @galeabrewer
First and foremost, I give thanks and glory to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! What God cannot do, does not exist! ✞ Special shout out to my Mum; my Queen, my best friend, my heartbeat!❤️ And my ever reliable and trustworthy bestie, Ameen!🤍 You have both supported me unwavering. You have really rallied around me and all your efforts have not gone unnoticed. From the depths of my soul, I truly thank you both for everything!🫶🏽 And of course my supporters/fans! You have been absolutely amazing! I am stunned and humbled to have impacted so many of you. And your messages….trust me, I HAVE SEEN EVERY SINGLE ONE! All of you are superstars and your kind words have touched my heart and moved me to tears. I thank you for riding with me through all the ups and downs and using your voices to speak out against injustices, false narratives and blatant favouritism. I appreciate every single one of you! The right decision is not always the easiest.💕 (1/4) I still cannot believe that from hundreds of thousands of applicants, I was chosen to be a part of Big Brother UK 2026! I am incredibly grateful to have had this dream become a reality; a dream since the age of 5! This journey brought some great highs as well as horrible lows. No contact with loved ones over a long period of time takes a toll and in-spite of incessant goading, provocation and bullying on a daily basis, I look back on this experience with such fond memories! (I would do it again in a heartbeat). From the tasks, to the Diary Room, to the hot tub…👀 even meeting AJ was enough for me!😂 I’ve laughed and I’ve cried but ultimately, I have done things I never thought I would whilst making some deep and unreal connections. Some of the Housemates will ALWAYS have a place in my heart. Especially MY RYDERS, you’ve got me for life now!💯 (2/4) I am NOT the finished article. I never purported to be perfect…and I never will be. What matters is my commitment to be better than who I was yesterday. I am HUMAN, I have emotions, and I HURT just like you. I have my faults like any other person and we are ALL fallible. Not one person is better than the next. I urge you to be mindful, be considerate, be gracious, be k
