Giorgos Papadakis

— Art direction and design for “Aquarium” from @dalotgrm.

The album tells the story of a lionfish living inside a fish tank of an aquarium. The musical tableau draws from a variety of influences including Greek kid’s tv shows from the 80s and early 90s as well as more contemporary influences often encountered in the sound of Dalot leaning towards more minimalist, electronic and experimental sounds.

The music featured is an adaptation of the original soundtrack composed for the dance performance for children titled “Aquarium” by Caterini Dinopoulou commissioned by the Municipality of Chania and KEPPEDIH-KAM presented as part of the “Open Sails” Festival 2021.
