a month agoJust so you all know, a little inside baseball for the DIY guys. "just an alignment" after someone else did all of the profitable work, is a complete LOSS to the shop. It doesn't justify selling unneeded work, thats unethical, but, no one wants "just an alignment". Obviously most armchair "mechanics" do not understand business or OVERHEAD! Lets go here: Compare it to a wife presenting her HUSBAND the hotel bill after she spent the night with her BOYFRIEND! Homeboy got all the goods and hubby did the hard part. Especially if homeboy also ordered room service and opened the in room bar, broke the tv and REALLY messed things up. Huge loss. No gains.
a month agoI have to agree with these commenter, that bounce wouldn't make me think shocks. If it is too easy to bounce thats springs.
a month agoI had a car on the alignment rack and if you did it enough you could get the rear tires to bounce up just slightly off the rack lol
a month agoThat is within specs. Two and a half rebounce is ok. Shocks are te biggest upscale from shops. It’s an easy one hour job.
a month agoI’m lost after he stopped bouncing it it stopped in 1 at most 2 which is ok, anything 3 or more is blown
