A taste of BIM in Toronto! 🇧🇧🇨🇦
My Canadian cuisine journey took me to Kensington Market, where Caribbean culture is represented all along the road—but I had one main mission: Bim Street Eats by Chef Aiks.
I tried the barbecue chicken, macaroni pie and, because I’m a pork mouth, some pigtail! 😂
The chicken was well-seasoned and falling off the bone, while the pigtail had the right amount of salt with a delicious barbecue flavour.
But that macaroni pie? At least three cheeses, packed with flavour and finished with a crispy top like a proper Sunday pie. Cheese was definitely present and accounted for! 🧀🔥
I also sampled some wings from a nearby Jamaican jerk spot and received an amazing white rum cake as a parting gift.
