ad OMG… welcome to transforming my mum’s new-build orangery into something that feels a little more STATELY HOME 🌿🍋 And thankfully I’d made another mould of this panelling before a gust of wind decided to destroy the original 😂 For this transformation I’ve teamed up with @lauraashleyuk + @nexthome and we are going FULL botanical, Victorian conservatory vibes. I’ve sprayed the walls and ceiling in Laura Ashley’s Twine paint, this gorgeous soft tone that makes all of the greenery and darker furniture absolutely POP. Then it was all about layering in character. A beautiful jute rug to ground the seating area, paired with these striped armchairs which I think give such a gorgeous boutique-hotel feel. And can we take a moment for all the rattan details?! 😍 All of the furnishings in this transformation are from Laura Ashley, one of my all-time favourite British brands, and I just love that they continue to create designs that feel timeless but still work so beautifully in modern homes. And obviously… is it even an orangery without a giant citrus tree?! 🍋 Mum has always wanted a huge statement tree in here and, considering the British weather isn’t exactly giving us Mediterranean citrus grove, we may have had to fake this one 😂 Something else I’m LOVING from Laura Ashley at the moment is the darker wood furniture. I really think we’re going to see a resurgence of these richer wood tones — they’re so timeless — and this Art Deco-inspired dining table and chairs bring so much warmth and character into the room. I genuinely cannot believe this is the same space. In just a few days it’s gone from a fairly plain new-build orangery to something that feels layered, botanical, homely and like it’s been here for YEARS 🌿 The greenery against that soft Twine paint might just be my favourite part… but the real question is, does Mum approve?! 👀 I think that’s a YES 😂
Drake faces a lawsuit over “Janice STFU.” Songwriter Aviel Calev Hirschfield alleges its chorus is “literally identical” to his 2026 demo. He says he sent the hook to producers FNZ before “Iceman” dropped. “Fifteen seconds in, Avi was stunned to hear Drake perform word-for-word, note-for-note, beat-by-beat, the exact same chorus that he (Avi) had recorded and sent,” the lawsuit alleges. His demo reads: “Reach me, baby/ Call my phone and say you need me, baby/ I’m so green, you gotta teach me, baby/ From Vancouver, you a BC, baby/ Pull up Maybach, beep beep, baby/ And my shit came with the heat seats, baby/ Swear my label gotta free me, baby/ Blow on me just like some green tea, baby.” Drake’s attorneys allegedly “shamelessly refuse to acknowledge Avi’s authorship,” despite receiving his audio files and metadata. “Drake and/or his representatives are instead taking the absurd position that Avi — a massive fan of Drake who has co-written a hit song with him in the past and has aspirations of working with him in the future — has manipulated the metadata in his recording files to make it appear (falsely) that the copyrighted work preceded ‘Janice STFU,’” reads the complaint. “Such a deception would constitute career suicide by Avi.” Hirschfield co-wrote Beyoncé’s “Heated” with Drake. He is suing Drake, OVO Sound and Universal Music Group, alleging they “robbed Avi of the reputational benefits and substantial compensation he deserves for his contribution to Drake’s biggest hit in many years.” He wants credit and royalties. Drake’s representative declined comment.
