Thank you for being so open and honest. This will help so many others in the same situation. The perfect life we see on social media is not a true reflection of what's really happening in day to day family life X

Only just seen this Debs. I have no magic advice or silver bullet to share but I hear you. As you know we've not had the easiest ride with school so I understand exactly what you're going through right now. And also totally empathise on the stress of trying to balance your work commitments whilst managing this stuff. It's bloody hard!

Sending you love darling. You are doing everything you can. I can appreciate how hard it can be but I for one know what an amazing mum you are. Loads of love ❤️

100% know exactly what you're going through. In the last 12 months Donny has done about 30 days max at school. He's now tutored at home, but still on roll at the school thanks to his EHCP, but that only started in June. If you believe there's a possibility of a neuro issue push the school SENCo as hard as you can for assessments. So long as you and Andy stay engaged with the school about the attendance issues they're generally ok about it and don't go down the legal route - it's the parents that don't give a shit that schools don't like!
