Overwhelmed! That is all I can say about the calls, texts, messages or love today. I am so grateful for my family and my friends. You gave of your time to say Happy Birthday to me. This year has been a challenge. How do you move forward after going through so much? Gods answer has been, “Not alone” I thank God for all of you! You have made me feel so special today.

🚨 BREAKING: Haley Stevens just rescinded her endorsement for Abdul El-Sayed, and instead endorsed Republican Mike Rogers for senate.

El-Sayed’s odds of winning the election just saw a sharp drop on @kalshi (though he is still favored to win). #KalshiPartner

Here’s how it went down:

1 - Abdul El-Sayed and Haley Stevens were supposed to hold a unity event after their primary. Then Stevens publicly called an ad backing El-Sayed antisemitic. The ad criticized U.S. foreign aid to Israel. Reports say El-Sayed responded by pulling her invite.

2 - CNN said its reporting was that El-Sayed disinvited her. Rep. Debbie Dingell jumped in on air and said she was the one who talked to Haley and decided it wasn’t working.

3 - Stevens then held a press conference in Detroit with Mike Rogers standing next to her. Her words: “I stood with my party. I was booed off the stage. I am voting for Mike Rogers.” A sitting Democratic congresswoman is now backing the Republican in Michigan’s Senate race.

4 - Before the endorsement, Rogers and Stevens were filmed arriving together at Perfecting Church in Detroit.

5 - Even with the swing in Michigan, prediction markets still favor Democrats are still favored to win both the House and Senate on @kalshi. Traders also think a Democratic Congress makes a U.S.-Iran nuclear deal more likely, and those odds have climbed along with the sweep odds.

6 - On Fox News asked Ro Khanna whether he’d defund U.S. military operations. His answer: “I would stop the funding. The House and Senate should stop the funding.”

7 - Asked for dinner recommendations, El-Sayed told reporters he’s “for shawarma law.”
