Just over six months ago,
on the 28th of February, we got to spend the day with these two at Whananaki Community Hall, surrounded by their favourite people and so much love. Time flies.
We snuck off for a few frames on the Whananaki footbridge too (the longest footbridge in the Southern Hemisphere, and now one of our favourite spots we’ve filmed at). The light was golden, the tide was calm, and Ashleigh and Sam made it look effortless.
This video’s woven through with handheld camcorder clips too. Something about their day just felt warm and nostalgic, so we wanted the film to hold onto that.
Two of the sweetest, easiest going people. So grateful we got to be part of it, even if it’s taken us a little while to share.
