The air is crisp but we have fabulous sunshine in the afternoon. Long may it last 🍂 The blazer has made its first appearance. I put a very fine knit sweater underneath as you can never second guess the weather at the moment. This belt 🤎 and boots I will be wearing on repeat so hope you don’t get bored The ladybirds 🐞 have arrived in the kitchen for the winter. Sadly not nearly as many as last year. It maybe due to the long hot summer or the pesticides the farmers use. I would put a picture on my stories but there is no way of hiding the cracks in the wall 😊 The clothes including some coats went to the charity this morning. I was told why are you giving that away I bought it for you? Because I haven’t worn it for 20 years. It’s from Reiss and black and white stripe. Such good quality but it never was my style but sometimes a wise head says nothing We were going out tonight but the animals are all in bed. I have made carrot and coriander soup and the jacket potatoes are in the oven. I just need to open the wine and light the fire for a perfect evening and the money I saved I can buy a new coat 😂 I am joking Have a lovely Friday evening x Blazer, Belt & Sunglasses: @hollandcooperclothing Leggings & Sweater: @uniqlo Boots: @fairfaxandfavor Pearls: @beaverbrooksthejewellers #autumnstyle#autumnoutfits#luxurylifestyle#fashioninspiration#countrychic
Things Are Not as Bad as People Claim, Let Tinubu Finish His Job, He Will Take Us Out of This Mess — Veteran Actor Jide Kosoko Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has defended President Bola Tinubu’s administration amid criticism over Nigeria’s economic hardship, insisting that things are not as bad as some Nigerians portray them. The 72-year-old actor spoke during an interview on Talk To B, a podcast hosted by actress Biola Adebayo, in a video posted on YouTube on Friday night. Kosoko, an open supporter of Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), blamed previous administrations for failing to plan adequately for Nigeria’s growing population, arguing that the current government was addressing inherited problems. “Things are not as bad as some people made us understand,” he said, adding that some Nigerians complaining about hunger had no meaningful source of livelihood before Tinubu assumed office. He also defended the removal of fuel subsidy, arguing that the funds previously used to sustain it could be redirected towards essential services. He cited the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as one of the government’s initiatives and urged beneficiaries to share their experiences. While acknowledging that Nigerians were going through difficult times, Kosoko urged citizens to remain patient, insisting that the administration had introduced policies capable of attracting investments and improving the country’s situation. The actor further called on Nigerians to re-elect Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, arguing that opposition parties had little to offer compared with the incumbent. “Let’s allow the man to finish his job. He’s doing well,” Kosoko said. He also expressed confidence in the president’s ability to address the country’s challenges, stating, “My appeal is this. He will take us out of this mess. He is only cleaning up people’s mess.” Kosoko urged Nigerians to cooperate with the government and endure the current difficulties, expressing optimism that the country would eventually overcome its challenges.
