Finnish American Association

In August, on a lovely Minnesota summer evening , we had a wonderful get together celebrating the completion of our merger. Some of the sizable “cast and crew” who participated in the “birthing and growing” of our new organization. We missed all of you who were unable to join us.

Each person shared about their connections to and with Finland. Lively conversations over tasty food allowed a time for community. Urho and Pam shared about FACAs history while also sharing several important documents they have archived and kept. The history of FFTC was also shared, Mirja stood in for Betsey in conveying that information. FAA is a brand new Finnish American organization yet it was birthed out of the work and involvement of the members of two excellent organizations. Here’s to a new day! 🇫🇮💙
