3:45 for 26.2 miles! This race meant more to me than any race I’ve ever ran. The marathon alone is such a challenge physically and mentally, but this challenge postpartum is what pulled me back to life. Motherhood is the most beautiful and rewarding thing, I absolutely love my babies and would do anything for them. But postpartum is also one of the hardest times (tbh thought it would be easier the second time, it was/is not for me 🙃) I needed something for me, something to feel like myself again and running is that for me. On top of running, having a goal to focus on not just what I looked like in mirror was so helpful. I wanted to show my girls their mom can do hard things, she can set goals, she can still be herself all while showing up for them and being there a 100%. Thank you @backonmyfeet , I got to help raise money to help those struggling with poverty and addiction get back on their feet, and this race helped me get back on my own feet postpartum. Lastly, but certainly not least I want to thank my family. Wow none of this would have been possible without them. My husband, Ben, saw how much it meant to me to train and gave me every opportunity he could to help and support 🤍 he lets me have delusional dreams of what I can do! And for my entire family to drop everything and travel (and host) for me to run this race meant the world! Their support through it all and every mile was so special and made me feel so loved. Also, all the work it took to watch my girls during the race and move around the city multiple times was a marathon within itself (if you know you know). 26.2 miles for my girls, Noella and Ivey, that’s my why 🤍

Copycat 6 Ingredient Pillsbury Pumpkin Slice and Bake Cookies!! Absolutely NO eggs, no dairy (so yeah, it’s vegan 🥹🌱) yet the dough tastes a little *too* identical to that classic store-bought cookie 😅the key is using powdered sugar rather than granulated sugar to create that extra soft melt in your mouth texture that will leave you speechless that makes even the raw cookie dough taste UNREAL😮‍💨it’s everything store bought aspires to be and more!! This is for nostalgia lovers ONLY!! You can find the full recipe on my site thebananadiaries.com or comment “PUMPKIN COOKIES” and I’ll send you the full recipe! Enjoy!!
