I have felt immense sadness and immense pride especially the last few days. But this post, goes beyond that. I wanted to post about him here, because it is important now more than ever in today’s zeitgeist, to be inspired by his bravery, to act on when we think someone needs us, make ourselves slightly uncomfortable if need be, to be open to hearing other people’s opinions, to listen to different sides with grace, to let go of pettiness, to have fun with your whole heart. To rage when you need to, be gentle when you need to. To not take yourself so seriously, while also being serious when it mattered. I hope you take a minute to read up on this incredible man, what he wrote and what he read, what we think today, he was talking the talk and walking the walk year ago.
