80s baby!! Let me have this hair… 😭
“I’m an 80s baby… and we really grew up in a different world.
We had big hair, cassette tapes, MTV, Saturday morning cartoons, and nobody left the house without knowing what time the streetlights came on.
We didn’t have social media… we had mixtapes. We didn’t send a text when we liked somebody—we waited by the phone and hoped they called. 😂
We rode bikes until dark, drank from the water hose, recorded songs off the radio, and knew the struggle of trying NOT to let the DJ talk over the beginning.
And the music? Prince. Whitney. Michael. Madonna. Bon Jovi. Janet. Those songs didn’t just play… they became memories.
I may live in 2026… but there will always be a little bit of the 80s in me.
Different generation. Different vibe. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
