Guests and friends of the House gather at 150 Mercer Street for cocktails by @claseazulofficial.
Beyoncé’s Message via Official Site: “My family and I started attending St. John’s Church when I was just a little girl, maybe 10 or 11 years old. Pastor Rudy had just founded the church, and back then, it was a small congregation. But it felt like a family. There was a warmth in that church, a familiarity, a sense of belonging. It was a place where I truly felt connected to God. That’s where I really learned to sing. I learned to feel a song before even thinking about the notes. I’d sit with the melody, study it, think about the words and what they meant to me. It wasn’t just about singing something beautifully. I remember when we opened the Knowles-Roland Youth Center in 1999. We were so young and had just received our first number one single with Destiny’s Child. One of the first things we wanted to do was give back to the community that had given us so much. When I was a kid, our house was always full of children. My mom had that kind of home where everyone knew they could come if they needed a place to stay. If someone was struggling in school, getting bullied, or getting into some trouble, they knew they could come to our house.” — Beyoncé on the opening of 31 housing centers built by her and Kelly Rowland in Houston

This is going to be special 🤩
I’ve fought an endless battle with the JOC committee of events in Ekhuruleni to a point where I felt like giving up on doing events in TEMBISA , we attended our last meeting today to ensure I come to you with all the rules , final lineup and updates on cooler boxes but we were told that the event can’t go on because MATRICULANTS have started with their final exams and with the number of tickets we have already sold it the event will cause a huge distraction in the community so we have been given a new date which is 28 NOVEMBER 2026 , I am sorry for all the inconvenience this has caused all tickets will be VALID for the new date , all REFUNDS can be done online at @computicket or KaJozi Tembisa thank you for the continuous support see yall on the 28th of November 2026 🙏❤️ tickets link in my bio Lastly all the best to 2026 matriculants 🙏❤️
