Historic Uptown 23rd is getting a Route 66 gateway mural — and we’re looking for the artist or artist team to design it.
This mural will celebrate the district’s role in Route 66 history, welcome visitors to Uptown 23rd, and reflect the spirit of the Oklahoma Standard. The project is made possible through a grant from the Route 66 Centennial Commission, and comes with a $30K Art Award to bring the vision to life.
Visit uptown23rd.com/mural for full details and to submit your qualifications. RFQ open now through September 13th at 11:59pm.
