Some corners of New York give themselves away slowly, and this is one of them.
A white house caught midway through its own changing, an orange fence at street level, a power line running across an open sky, all of it held in late afternoon light. It is the kind of ordinary block you pass a hundred times before you really see it, and it is exactly the kind of New York this show was made for.
This piece is on view now and available for purchase at the Beehive at Yellow Studio, part of New York, I Love You, a group exhibition on view through November 15.
Come see it in person, spend a little time with it, and take a piece of New York home with you.
