Your paycheck gets taxed immediately. A billionaire’s fortune can grow untaxed for years. 💵🧠

In the U.S., stocks can gain millions in value without triggering income tax on that growth until they’re sold.

But the wealthy can spend without selling. They borrow against their shares, get cash, and keep their investments. A genuine loan generally isn’t taxable income because it must be repaid.

They owe interest, but they can postpone the tax bill while their wealth stays invested.

Most workers need their paycheck to cover this month’s bills. They can’t choose to delay earning it until the tax timing suits them.

For workers, taxes come out before the bills get paid. For the wealthy, postponing them is part of the business plan.

First, I made it a GOAL.

Without a goal, I have no plan. Without a plan, I take no action.

The first thing I did when I turned 70 in January was pick this October beach vacation. I need a date. I need a point in time to hold me accountable.

I had 8 months to train my glutes with focus. I trained them twice a week, but I didn't change my training schedule. I still trained just 4 days a week for an hour. What changed was my intensity. I trained with more focus, pushed a little harder, and lifted a little heavier.

I stay somewhat lean all year, but not lean enough to wear a thong! So, 9 weeks out, I started eating leaner, but I still kept my 3 cheat meals a week.

I was actually ready in about 7 weeks, so I had to start eating more, adding additional carbs and protein. Otherwise, I would have just ended up skinny.

All my cardio is done at home on a Stair Climber before breakfast. Over those 9 weeks, I went from 20 minutes and 1,000 steps to 30 minutes and 2,500 steps by increasing the speed. I usually did the Stair Climber 5–6 days a week.

And yes, we still had our 3 date nights a week!

Can I do this again at 71?

Well, I'm actually only about 3 months away, so I've already made another GOAL. I want to improve on what I did at 70.

I started this week.

A GOAL. A PLAN. A DATE. And a REASON to push myself.

Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh: Muslim residents of Tanua village reportedly requested members of the Hindu community to switch off loudspeakers during namaz timings.

Following the request, BJP leader and former Basic Education Minister Satish Chandra Dwivedi allegedly threatened that if microphones were switched off during Durga Puja, he would not allow mosques to use microphones for namaz either. He also allegedly threatened the Kathela police station officer over the phone.

Palantir is offering high school graduates an alternative to college through its Meritocracy Fellowship, a program designed to identify talented young people and give them direct experience inside one of America’s leading technology companies. The company is now accepting applications for its 2027 class.

The four month fellowship allows selected graduates to work alongside Palantir employees on real technical challenges involving software, data, and engineering. Rather than spending years earning a traditional degree, participants gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

The program also includes an educational component focused on history, philosophy, and Western civilization. Fellows can earn approximately $5,400 per month, and those who successfully complete the program may interview for full-time positions at Palantir.

The initiative reflects CEO Alex Karp’s criticism of traditional higher education and his belief that talent and demonstrated ability should matter more than academic credentials.
