September Beginnings ✨
There’s something about this time of year that feels like the start of a new year. For me, September triggers a kind of psychological muscle memory:
𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥.
Feeling this “new year” energy, I started my bi-annual big studio tidy/overhaul. Whilst clearing out the top shelf of my cupboard, I rediscovered an old folder FULL of beautiful paintings. I couldn’t help but feel sad and ashamed that they’ve been hidden and forgotten about for so long.
As an artist, I don’t run lots of sales - and honestly, I can’t afford to! Creating original art is skilled work. It’s more than just a physical object; there are so many hidden hours behind every piece, not to mention the hours spent running a small business on top of that.
HOWEVER, I have so many artworks that deserve their own ‘happily ever after.’ That’s why I’m proposing a HUGE sale to get as many of these gorgeous pieces as possible into loving homes and onto your walls where they belong. I’ve given myself a self-imposed painting ban in the meantime - no new works until some old ones have found new homes - I just don’t have the space to store any more!
WHEN? From 9am (BST) this Saturday 12th - 9am Monday 14th, artworks will be listed on my stories. It will be a first-come, first-served basis. Full details will be released on the day.
This limited sale will be the perfect opportunity to start or add to your original artwork collection and bring a little bit more joy into your world.
