CORPOS EM SOMBRA (BODIES IN SHADOW)
🎬 Genre: Psychological / Biological Thriller | Feature Film
📌 LOGLINE:
When a rare genetic mutation grants a young African athlete super-strength and unmatched dominance in sports, the physical side effects trigger severe social rejection—forcing her to abandon her career and embark on a perilous journey to Europe for a cure, all while uncovering a dangerous conspiracy that threatens their survival.
📖 SYNOPSIS:
While a rare genetic mutation makes an African athlete unbeatable on the field, it turns her body into a cause for fear and prejudice, destroying her social and romantic life. Desperate to strip away her physical advantages and regain a normal routine, she abandons sports—until a winning lotto ticket gives her the chance to travel to Europe to seek a cure from a world-renowned geneticist. In this new continent, she connects with other outcast, lonely souls who form an unexpected family—all while being hunted by a shadowy secret organization.
🎨 DIRECTOR'S VISION & VISUAL STYLE:
Built upon themes of loneliness and human connection, the visual narrative relies heavily on color contrast. The aesthetic transitions from the vibrant, warm palettes of Africa to the stark, cold tones of Europe, directly mirroring the protagonist's emotional evolution.
💡 PRODUCTION STATUS & TALENT CALL:
• Intellectual Property: Fully registered in Brazil (Biblioteca Nacional) and globally (U.S. Copyright Office & Safe Creative).
• Concept Teaser: AI-generated for visual concept demonstration only.
• Casting & Locations: Seeking REAL acting talents (fresh, rising actors from Africa and Europe) to film on location in Africa and Europe. Open for co-production partners, representation, and financing.
