In chiropractic school, I was so overwhelmed that I stopped teaching fitness classes, barely made it to the gym, and lived on fast food.โ€จ I knew what to do. I just couldnโ€™t make it work consistently.โ€จ And I felt like a failure.โ€จ ๐Ÿ‘‰ An imperfect plan you can follow beats a perfect one you keep abandoning. Comment BASELINE and Iโ€™ll send you my free Minimum Effective Week Plan.โ€จ Can you do two strength sessions this week? A few walks? Five minutes of mobility?โ€จ If youโ€™re about to spend three months telling yourself youโ€™ll start again when life calms down, I want to know: When has life ever slowed down?๐Ÿ˜…โ€จ My Minimum Effective Week Plan is a free, practical plan for every Betty who needs a baseline. Start here, give yourself a sticker for getting it done, and accept all the bonus points when you can do a little more. It ALL counts. Hereโ€™s how to use it, depending on where youโ€™re at: Overwhelmed? (my Overwhelmed Ophelias) Your biggest obstacle is taking one small, imperfect action. Start small and build your confidence. Consistent action builds momentum, and momentum builds belief. Exhausted, but feel guilty resting? (my Exorcist Emilys) You donโ€™t have to earn your rest. Challenge yourself to recover with a scaled-back week that still keeps your work moving. Cutting calories when life gets busy? (my Skinny-Fat Sophias) A busy week isnโ€™t a reason to eat less and move more. Prioritize strength, fuel, and the body youโ€™re building. Already training hard? (my Dialled-In Dianas) Your devotion includes flexibility. Use this plan as a base. Fine-tune it, add to it, and make it fit your life without abandoning the promise you made to yourself. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Comment BASELINE and Iโ€™ll send you my Minimum Effective Week Plan. Hi, Iโ€™m Dr. Stephanie, a chiropractor with over 20 years of experience and host of The Better Podcast who is obsessed with female biomechanics and helping women build dream bodies today that carry them into their 70s with ease. What a run, yโ€™all. Had one heck of a time out on the #WordOnTheStreetTour this summer. Canโ€™t thank yโ€™all enough for letting me do what I love again and again each year. And thank you to the LBO for making these shows so great and all these talented artists that warmed up the stage for me every night. Love yโ€™all and canโ€™t wait to see yโ€™all out on the road soon.
