Earnslaw Burn Station, South Island, New Zealand.

A long six hour hike with a pack that was absolutely heaving. Reaching the end of this valley and looking up to see all the glacial waterfalls cascading down the mountain side was one of the most breathtaking things I’ve seen in New Zealand.

I did this hike two weeks before l moved back to Australia and this made me want to stay.

There was something humorous in watching people land via helicopter and walk out in their dresses and trousers whilst l was lying in the grass covered in mud.

Would l take a free heli here? Absolutely not 😂
