Donald Trump says Nicki Minaj as the next White House press secretary is “a good idea.” When Benny Johnson asked on The Benny Show if Nicki is going to be the next press secretary, Trump said, “That’s a good idea. I think I’ll have to think about that. I’m going to think about that,” then asked Johnson, “How about you?”

The press secretary job has been empty since October 16, when Katie Zacharia was pushed out after five days, the shortest run in modern history. She had replaced Karoline Leavitt, who left in August.

Nicki’s name came up after she flew with Trump on Air Force One to a rally in Port Huron, Michigan. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung posted a video of her on the plane and captioned it, “Ladies and gentlemen, I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!” Nicki reshared it with an American flag and a sweating face emoji. At the rally, Trump complimented her behind from the stage and said he hoped she wasn’t insulted.

No appointment has been made, and Nicki has not responded to Trump’s comments. Would you want to see Nicki at the podium?
