Combining the two times Hadi sung “Alfaaz” for his Mahnoor! 💞 What a beautiful episode of #Rutba we got last night!! Mahnoor’s family came & saw Hadi’s home & Mahnoor laid all of Hadi’s (or his parent’s) apprehensions at rest - choosing him over all supposed comforts. The story was beautifully narrated, so realistically too- from Hadi’s parents feeding their cows to Mahnoor’s family reaching Hadi’s home after quite a trek. Beautifully written, directed & shot! Also loved Hadi & Mahnoor’s walk thru the house, reaching the “chatt” where Mahnoor who’d stayed quiet up till now seemed to be asking Hadi why even was he showing her everything, as if to scare her away :) “Tum abhi tak samjhay nahin na Mahnoor ko?”. Koi pyar karay toh Mahnoor jaisa! How deftly she over-rode all of her parents’ warnings too. Then Haseeb Hassan brought us another beautifully organic wedding - reminded me of “Jannat se Aagay” too. A culturally rich but simple wedding. Dehati too in this case, with dhol, bhangra, dulha in a noto wala haar & sehra that he wouldn’t remove till the end 😄❤️ The mom-in-law gifting Mahnoor her earrings with dheron duayen was v endearing. Mahnoor asking her to put them on for her was even more so. 🫶🏼 And then the suhaag raat where Hadi serenades his bride & promises undying love was the absolute cherry on the cake. Talha & Hiba were adorable together, making us root for this couple immediately! Making us go gooey eyed as well. 😍Alfaaz in Talha’s voice sounded beautiful too. Allah inki jori salamat rakhay par jitnay waday ho rahe hain, kuch darr bhi lagta hai. 💗🥹🙏🏼🤞🏽 Waiting for Ep3 tonight! . .
