Islamabad, 2009.... My two friends and I (all 19 year olds) crusing in a Home Kept stock 1997 Honda civic (it locked 0-100 kph in 6.7ish seconds) it was very exciting for us and we thought we're the shit because it beat any similar stock civic and many other cars by yards! Reason was simple that his dad bought it brand new and drove it to work and back under extreme care for about 2 years under 2-3 RPM max! and the engine was now bursting with energy in terms of health, this is when it was handed over to my friend. Honestly at that time we didnt know shit about what Turbos do how they sound, what is a 2JZ-GTE how that sounds how it screams We had no fucking clue. One fine night we were cruising on Justice Abdul Rasheed Road (the service road that goes straight to marghazar zoo) in that civic with Jinnah Super ke french fries in our hands we were heading north towards the zoo's direction and on our left was the furious 7th Avenue, and we had no idea that a 2JZ-GTE Supra was gearing up for a launch, it was a pleasant weather and our windows were open but we couldnt see the 7th avenue due to trees on that belt. And we had no idea that we would feel our heart's inside our throats in the coming minute, chilling eating fries cruising suddenly we heard a roar and as soon as we could fathom what that roar was, we started hearing Gunshots (little did we know it was the turbo anti-lag destroying our ears) it was 2009 and terrori$m was at it's peak. I will be very honest we thought someone is shooting an AK-47 on a rapid fire I actually ducked thinking we are dead, the explosions of the unburnt fuel were so fucking loud that I could feel the driver (my friend) losing his shit because the civic for a few seconds started going hay-wire on the service road lol We didnt see what it was, all we could gather that it was a car that was so fucking powerful that it was shooting explosions from its exhaust For the next few days we tried inquiring what the fuck it could have been and thats where our racing scene elders told us that what we heard was Adils supra (corrected) I also want to tell you that this black supra didnt only gain fame on social media, it ws the talk of town.
