YUNG MAGAZINE FALL 2026. THE HUMAN ISSUE. She’s seen the world. But nothing quite feels like Cairo. For Egyptian actress and model @taraemad , growing up meant dreaming of everywhere else. Born and raised in Egypt, with summers spent in Montenegro, she imagined a life that would take her far beyond the city she called home. And it did. But somewhere between travelling the world, film sets and fashion shows, she discovered that the place she once dreamed of leaving was the one she couldn’t wait to return to. The chaos of Downtown Cairo. The little bookstores. The coffee shops. The sound of car horns and street vendors. All the things that make a city impossible to forget. “I don’t know if I’ll ever live anywhere other than here. Whenever I land, I’m like, ‘Oh, finally!” For someone whose life rarely stands still, perhaps belonging isn’t about finding somewhere new. It’s about knowing exactly where you want to return. Tara Emad. At home, wherever life takes her. Discover the full story. Link in bio. I'M BACK FROM SHANGHAI GUYS!!! AND OH MY GOD THESE PICS???? 😭😭❤️ Basically I was out in the rain when all of a sudden a woman approached us asking if I wanna take pics in a Hanfu and I said YESSSS I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS She took me to some building, I got sat down, got my hair done, Makeup done and put into a Hanfu and then we went out in the rain to take pictures and oh my goddddd!!!! I look so different when someone else does my Makeup LMFAO and honestly to a degree, this was 'too much' for me? But I still don't hate this look and feel like I can learn so much from it for Cosplay!! So excited to hear what you guys think 🤭 I also love that they edited my hair cause my hair color at that point was a purple-red but their hair extensions were black and I do think it looks better this way. And god during the photoshoot, so many people stared and took pics and ahhh I felt like a princess 😭 I didn't want to book a Hanfu photoshoot because I didn't think I would look good in chinese traditional clothing but now I'm so glad I did it cause I am in love with the results 😭 So glad this spontaneous opportunity came up 🥹🥹❤️ In general I have so much more pics to come soon 🤭 And yes I will release a set of this, too! #hanfugirl #hanfu #cosplaygirl #shanghai

A scarf can be styled in so many different ways 🤎 No belt that matches your outfit? Try using a scarf instead! I love how one small detail can give an outfit a completely different look ✨ You can wear it with your shirt tucked in or left out. Both ways look great!
