This weekend I achieved my yellow belt in Judo. It’s been months of hard work with my boy @advent_ and others at @sasakijudo_orlando 🥋 but we got it done! I’ve been involved in martial arts since I was very young, starting with Karate 🥋 and Wrestling 🤼 in high school. Judo is a beautiful sport, it’s not always about strength but timing, footwork and precision. If you have the ability to join a local gym or commit to a martial art, I encourage you to give it your all. There is nothing like putting yourself through something that is both physically and mentally demanding and seeing yourself overcome it. I want to thank my wife @emily_lauren29 for being my Uke for the occasional lesson when I come home after class 😂 ❤️ 🥋 OSS!
