Making a favourite pattern again 🍂
This is my second Simplicity 3097, this time in a brick-red cotton poplin from Spotlight.
I’ve been missing autumn lately — which is slightly ridiculous when you live in Singapore and autumn simply… doesn’t happen 😂 So I decided to sew myself a little bit of it instead.
For this version, I brought the shoulders in slightly and finished the neckline and armholes with bias tape instead of facings. Small changes, but I really like how clean and light it feels. Also same as last version, I shorten the bodice panels (yes 12 of them) 😆
Would you wear autumn colours even when it’s 30°C outside? 🍁

It's a very pretty dress. I wear the color I like, regardless of the season.😉
