STILL: a zombie survival game where the town doesn’t wait for you We’re building an isometric survival game set in a small southern Ukrainian town in the 90s–2000s. Think Project Zomboid, but the world keeps living whether you’re looking or not. Here’s what makes it different: No health bar. You have blood, measured in milliliters. Bullets travel through flesh, organs and arteries. A hit to the finger won’t kill you. A nicked artery will, unless you get a tourniquet on in time. Armor goes by real protection classes, and a helmet matters. A town of about a thousand real people. Every resident has a home, a job, a family and a place in the social ladder. A cop’s house is richer and has no vegetable garden, and the mayor has a big house with an orchard. They keep living their lives off-screen in one shared simulation, not just inside your view. Day Zero, hour by hour. Zombies show up at 8 a.m. At 4 p.m. the research institute’s lab is breached and something worse gets out. People flee by car, the checkpoint closes and the exit road jams. You live through the collapse instead of waking up after it. People fight to survive, not to die. In a gunfight, NPCs weigh their odds. Can we win? Is this worth dying for? They retreat, surrender or spare you. A gang doesn’t charge you like a horde. They remember what you did. Walk up covered in blood, or wearing a jacket that belongs to someone’s brother, and people react to it. Take over a house by killing the family inside and the neighbors will know. Weld your car into a weapon. What you build in the garage is physical. Pipes, sheets and spikes all count, and zombies get impaled on them, sometimes just parts of them and sometimes whole bodies. Failure teaches too. You get better at things by trying them, including when you mess up. It’s early, and we’re building it in the open. Follow along if you want to see a town fall apart one street at a time.
The race to become the next James Bond is heating up, and Hollywood’s biggest names are competing for one of cinema’s most iconic roles. 🍸 After Daniel Craig’s legendary 15-year run as 007, the question remains: who has what it takes to wear the tuxedo, drive the Aston Martin, and introduce himself as Bond… James Bond? From Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Henry Cavill to Callum Turner, Jack Lowden, Harris Dickinson, and Josh O’Connor, the rumored contenders represent very different visions for the future of the franchise. Some bring classic British sophistication, others have the action-star credentials, while younger candidates could redefine Bond for an entirely new generation. With Amazon MGM overseeing the franchise’s next chapter, expectations are enormous. But despite years of speculation, no successor has been officially announced. Who would YOU cast as the next 007? Drop your pick below. 👇 Follow @millionaire.life.style for more luxury, entertainment, and Hollywood news.
In Umani Springs, everyone now walks at ‘Mwezi pace’! At just five days old, our tiniest girl can’t travel very far or very fast — but the herd is very, very happy to slow down to her baby speed. Really, they’re just happy, period. There’s a definite air of joy in Umani right now — elephants always celebrate a new baby, but especially one born to Murera! — In case you missed the news: Last Thursday, Murera gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Every baby born to a rewilded orphan is a miracle, but that miracle is compounded for Murera. Read the full story: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/news/updates/murera-mwezi —— © Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
