One more small project completed; scratch built logs for an upcoming log truck project. I elected to build these logs with fictional bark patterns from wooden dowels and acrylic modeling paste instead of foraging for actual twigs. One time I tried used the twig method, cut it open and honest to god a ton of bugs came out. Never again.

@workin.dan I'm interested in purchasing some of the authentic Logs you have made. Are you willing to sell them??

Yeah, don't use twigs lol. Use actual, small trees. Cut them down, limb them and cut them to length, granted this is easier for some than others. I happen to cut a lot in my line of work so I'll bring a good one home now and then lol.
