It takes a lot of love and behind-the-scenes volunteers to run an artist guild! When I’m docent at Charleston Artist Guild Gallery, I’m often asked about the guild – and most folks don’t realize how important they are to the local art community. Connecting with fellow artists has been most important to me, but folks can also receive mentoring and peer critiques, watch live demos, exhibit their work, and take classes to explore new mediums and techniques.
