Hey, folks - I just left the Barnes & Noble in Kingston, New York, where I signed a few more copies of my latest book Alchemy of the Broken Blade, as well as Life After Death, High Magick, and Angels & Archangels. They have been incredibly kind and supportive to me, and were willing to do this because they know I don’t really travel much anymore, so it greatly limits book signings. If you want a signed copy of any of these books, they will ship it directly to you. Their phone number is: (845)443-2033 Thank you guys so much for the love and support you’ve shown me through the years.

Let’s Talk about Style… Style is subjective. It’s personal, and I think it’s something innate within us. If you’re anything like me, you’re a bit of a chameleon. My style changes with my moods and the different sides of my personality. But one thing never changes. How something makes me feel. I don’t dress for other people, to follow trends or to look ‘cool’. I wear what I love, because it makes me happy. I still wear clothes I bought twenty years ago. Not because they’ve come back into fashion, but because I never stopped loving them. And I firmly believe in buying the best quality you can afford. Good things should last. Which brings me to the first time I saw a Holthinrichs watch. I’d never seen anything quite like it. I had no real reference point, nothing to compare it to. All I knew was that I loved it. It was an entirely emotional response. And isn’t that rather wonderful? To discover something that speaks to you without needing to explain why? That’s how I approach both my wardrobe and my watch collection. I don’t need something to be fashionable, recognisable or universally admired. I just need to feel that little spark of pure joy. And sometimes the things I love most are the ones that shouldn’t really work together on paper. But who decided they shouldn’t? And I think the same applies to collecting watches. You don’t need a collection that ticks all the boxes or contains the watches everyone tells you that you should own. So wear the boots. Mix the patterns. Put on the unusual watch. Life is far too short to dress for someone else’s approval. Do you agree?
दारिद-दसानन दबाई दुनी , दीनबंधु! दुरित-दहन देखि तुलसी हहा करी॥ In times of distress, O Ram, You have shown grace to all. Poverty, the ten headed Ravan, has crushed the world, O Friend of the afflicted! Seeing the fire of suffering and evil, Tulsi cries out in anguish. In this poignant doha, Goswami Tulsidas invokes Lord Ram, Deenbandhu, the protector of the poor seeking deliverance from poverty and suffering. On Dussehra, Ravan's defeat reminds us to look beyond the burning effigy and confront the evils that continue to afflict humanity. Rambola, a Hindi feature film written and directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, revisits the legacy of Goswami Tulsidas whose words continue to resonate across generations. @chandraprakashdwivediofficial @wisdomtreeproductions #Rambola #Drchandraprakashdwivedi #WisdomtreeProductions #Goswamitulsidas #Dussehra [Rambola, Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Goswami Tulsidas, Dussehra, Kavitavali]
