Sabbath Saturdays in September ✨

Lately I’ve been focused on ways to incorporate practices to recover from years of burnout & survival mode. So this month I’m setting Saturdays aside to slow down, spend time with God, do things I enjoy, and just… chill.

I know we traditionally think of Sabbath as Sundays, but Sabbath was historically observed from Friday evening into Saturday. I’m choosing Saturday because it fits my life and schedule better right now.

For me, it isn’t about being legalistic about the details but intentionally setting aside time to stop, rest, & worship.

@madisonryannward’s concert with @mrtalkbox was the perfect way to end the day. I’ve never gotten to a concert so early so I was exhausted by the end of the night 🥲 but it truly was worth it. 💖
