What’s going on in Eternia? Tune in to @nugsnet to find out🔮

I genuinely think the Sydney property market has broken my perception of what a house is supposed to cost 😂

Instagram is currently feeding me property listings across Italy: Puglia, Sicily, Calabria, even areas around Lake Como, and I keep seeing perfectly liveable little apartments and homes for prices that make me stare at my phone like there must be a zero missing.

Because when you come from Sydney, you’re conditioned to think of property in completely different numbers.

An amount of money that here might barely get you started can, in parts of Europe, apparently buy an actual home.

Not a deposit.

The entire home 😳

Obviously there are enormous differences between regions, properties, jobs, wages and local economies- so before you come at me in the comments, I’m not pretending you can casually buy a villa on Lake Como for the price of a used Toyota.

But it does make you realise how much your idea of what is “normal” is shaped by where you live…

And right now my Australian property brain is having a small existential crisis

A special POV on a special night 😍

🎃 Hackensack, New Jersey, to be exact. Chucky canon stipulates the demented doll is the manifestation of serial killer Charles Lee Ray, born in Hackensack in 1957. Charles later moved to Chicago, where he became the legendary Lakeshore Strangler, but we all know him as a Jersey boy at heart. 🖤

In the Chucky TV series, the doll is the target of an exorcism when he utters the immortal line … “You think I’m scared of going to hell? F—k that! I’m from Jersey!” It’s only a matter of time before Chucky takes its rightful place in @njhof. 🏆

Let’s grow!
