I need your help please being my accountability buddy during this 6 month break I took between graduating residency & starting my first attending job as a PCP!!! it’s normal to be super burned out from residency and taking 1-6 months off if you can. my goal is to return to all the hobbies (you can see from my page that I have A LOT lol) I neglected or “save to try later”, finish the house projects I put on hold during residency, and LIVE. however, going from a super rigid schedule to zero schedule has me either too overwhelmed with options to start or starting more projects than I’ve finished.

that’s where you come in —I’m going to post each week moving forward of the sidequests I’ve started so you can make sure I finish them. I’ll show when they’re finished and if you want a tutorial, let me know!

thank youuuu xx maybe this will inspire you to reclaim your time and try out that new hobby you’ve been eyeing or miss too!

if you want unfiltered advice, genuine portrayals of med life and tidbits of recipes, travel & outdoor adventures along the way then follow @sliceofannie 🫶🏼

I relate so much to this!!! Also graduated fm residency end of June and not starting my pcp job til mid October. Loving this hobby motivation! I’m in the middle of trying new recipes and taking up crocheting and needle point. Enjoy your break!!

this week’s finished DIY project: sewn bubble name garland for my puppy tee hee inspo: Etsy shop LarkandLinenCo materials: scrap fabric (bought fat eighths from a quilting store) + saved filling from destroyed dog toys + thread + needle + ribbon (recycled the ribbon from @onequince packaging) I drew the bubble letters on the fabric with a fabric marker x2 (don’t forget to flip the image for asymmetrical letters) giving 1/4” margin to sew. sewed along the edges with ribbon loops at the top to hang on the garland. when there was a small gap left, stuffed the letters with polyfill to desired puffiness. thread through the ribbon at the end, tie two bows, hang and ENJOY!
