Kennett Community Grocer

Four years ago, KCG co-founder Edie Burkey, shared her vision for what Kennett Community Grocer could become.

She imagined a place filled with local food and goods, where our community could connect with the people who grow, make, and produce what we bring home.

Four years later, we’re watching that vision become real.

Thank you, Edie. Thank you to our board members, volunteers, fellow small businesses, and especially our member-owners who believed in this vision and kept it moving forward. 🌱

What started as an idea has become a community effort—and this fall, we’ll finally get to open the doors.

We can’t wait to welcome you in.
