Overall, I think the M-001 is a solid but expensive first mouse from @wallhackhq

The shape is a little back-heavy, with a higher hump than I prefer, but that’s mostly personal preference.

My biggest issue is the clicks. I’m extremely particular about how my clicks feel and sound, and these feel a pingy. The sound and feedback also change depending on where I press the main buttons.

Wallhack is sending me a second M-001 so I can determine whether this is how the clicks are intended to feel or if my unit is an outlier. I want to make sure I’m being fair before reaching a final conclusion.

At $189, though, I want more than premium materials and flagship specs. I want an idea that makes the mouse unmistakably Wallhack.

Interestingly, I think I’d actually prefer it in plastic. Magnesium isn’t what makes this mouse interesting. The battery system, dongle, coating, and Terminal web app are what give the M-001 its identity.

The M-001 proves Wallhack can make a great mouse. The next one needs to prove what makes a Wallhack mouse different.
