a month agoI have been a Dolly fan for as long as I can remember and seeing her live at CMA Fan Fest in 2024 was probably one of the best moments of my life when she hit the stage I cried the happiest of tears and it was an experience I got to share with my daughter after a hard and tumultuous year it was what I needed. I also got to meet her sister Rachel and hugging her felt like hugging a member of my family. Their family seems so welcome and loving can you imagine if we all had families like that what a better world it would be.
a month agoA beautiful tribute! And what an amazing talent you are - Dolly always looked elegant and glamorous all at once!!
a month agoWhen I was a child in the 90s and my mom played Dolly and we watched Straight Talk many times and listened to the soundtrack, I worried that Dolly was getting older. Now I know she was only in her 40s, but as a child age is hard to gauge. I loved and treasured Dolly's warmth and presence and worried about one day losing her. I cried for two weeks after she died and am still mourning. Reading the biography on her, "Ain't Nobody's Fool" is helping. But no soul like Dolly ever walked this earth. I'm envious you got to look into those sweet eyes and connect with her. And very happy for you.
