Texas may have a bone to pick with the latest ranking of America’s favorite convenience stores. Buc-ee’s, the Texas-born travel stop known for its beaver mascot, immaculate bathrooms and litigious tendencies, is no longer sitting at the top of the convenience-store heap, according to a 2026 report from the American Customer Satisfaction Index. Michigan-based Meijer took the top spot this year with a customer satisfaction score of 82 out of 100, according to the ACSI. QuikTrip, Sheetz and Wawa tied for second at 80. Buc-ee’s scored 77, tying for seventh with Maverik, Pilot, RaceTrac and Shell. Tap the link in our bio to learn more. (Photo by Katina Zentz/San Antonio Express-News)

I've been reading The STEPS, a memoir by the legendary Sylvester Stallone @officialslystallone , also one of my all time favourite movie icons. I feel this could be a great dictionary for anybody going through trying times in their lives. I knew struggle is one thing but what makes a person go the distance is a sense of real belief that they need to get out there and do something with their lives. This book is a testament of that! Sometimes what we take for granted is how privileged we are, not keeping in mind we are living what others dream of. I hope this book finds anyone who needs it.
We Need To Vote For Tinubu or We Will Lose Out; The Erosion Happening In Anambra Is Beyond The State’s Capacity — Gov Chukwuma Soludo Informs Indigenes Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has stressed the need for cooperation with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying federal support is crucial to addressing major road infrastructure and erosion challenges in the state. Speaking about plans for the Oba–Nnewi–Uga–Ihube (Okigwe Junction) road and the Otuocha–Anam–Abaji road, Soludo explained that the proposed dual carriageway projects are federal roads requiring intervention from the Federal Government. He said the state government would handle the designs and could begin work on the first 30 kilometres, while the remaining sections would require federal involvement. He also praised Tinubu over the reported approval of the road construction and dualisation projects. Soludo warned that Anambra could lose out without cooperation between the state and the Federal Government, saying, “If there’s no consequence, you will lose something.” The governor also called for federal intervention to tackle the state’s persistent erosion problem, arguing that it was beyond the financial capacity of the state government. “The erosion happening in Anambra is beyond the state’s capacity. It requires federal intervention, and that is why we need to vote for Tinubu,” he said. Addressing Dike, Soludo questioned how Tinubu would respond to Anambra’s needs after an earlier attempt to wrest power from him before he became president. “Tinubu, whom you couldn’t take power away from when he was not yet president, how do you think he will look at you now that he is the president and you take power away from him?” he asked. His remarks linked the need for federal assistance with political cooperation and support for Tinubu, particularly in addressing Anambra’s road infrastructure and erosion challenges.
