@nike screwing over the everyday consumer. Two month old “premium” Kobe basketball shoes sole detaching from the shoe. Still 95% on the treads. Sent them in for warranty (they have a two year manufacturer defect warranty). Claim DENIED for “normal wear and tear”. What a joke. Lost a loyal customer with this BS

Our health insurance bill is already 53K A MONTH for our 4 stores • $636,000/year. This is easily our biggest expense, aside from our actual payroll and rent. Anthem values us so much that they are proposing a VIOLENT 59.5% increase on top of this already outrageous premium for us to continue being covered. They want over one million dollars +++ to insure our small business. One reason cited for this increase? Our demographic risk factors. I can count the number of genXers on our payroll on one hand, most of our employees are young, in their 20s and 30s. This is B.S. Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) menetapkan lima tersangka dalam kasus dugaan korupsi pengadaan barang dan jasa yang anggarannya diduga bersumber dari dana siap pakai kebencanaan Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB), Rabu (14/10/2026). Praktik tersebut diduga telah berlangsung sejak 2022. Ketua KPK Setyo Budiyanto menjelaskan bahwa dugaan korupsi tersebut telah terjadi sekitar tiga hingga empat tahun terakhir. “Ya, kurang lebih sekitar tiga-empat tahun ditarik ke belakang,” katanya di Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Rabu (14/10/2026). Dana siap pakai BNPB merupakan anggaran untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mendesak dan darurat saat terjadi bencana. Sebelumnya, KPK melakukan operasi tangkap tangan (OTT) di lingkungan BNPB pada Selasa (13/10/2026) dan menangkap 14 orang, termasuk Sekretaris Utama BNPB Rustian serta sejumlah pihak swasta. Meski turut diamankan, Rustian tidak ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
