Had a great time hanging out with @maryancheta while up in Vancouver, BC a couple of weekends ago. For those not familiar with her music, she is an incredible jazz keyboardist and just released her new album, When The Light Comes To Play, earlier this year. It’s one of my favorite albums of the year and I’ve got four copies for sale stateside. Check out her album on Bandcamp and hit me up if you want a copy for yourself…they won’t last long! Also, catch her opening for @polyrhythmics at The Rickshaw Theater as part of their fall tour on November 14th!! #maryanchetaquartet #vancouverbc #canadianmusic #jazzrecords #supportlocalmusic

@male 😭 - Landlords often face criticism because housing is a basic necessity, and rising rent can make it difficult for people to afford a place to live. Tenants may become frustrated when rent increases while repairs go unfinished, maintenance requests are ignored, or security deposits are unfairly withheld. Some people also believe landlords benefit from owning property while tenants spend years paying rent without building equity of their own. At the same time, property owners argue that they take on financial risks, mortgage payments, taxes, insurance, and maintenance costs to keep their rentals running. Much of the resentment comes down to the growing cost of housing and whether people feel the relationship between landlords and tenants is fair.

The most offensive part of Shane Gillis’s ‘women as wh***s’ segment on Saturday Night Live was how deeply mediocre it is. The Independent's Holly Baxter writes. 🔗 Click the link in bio to read more #shanegillis #snl #skit #women
