One of my favorite moments at the Forbes Female Founders Marketplace was every time a woman asked me, “Where did your brand start?” and I got to proudly say, “Uptown. Washington Heights, NYC.” ✨🏹

Everything started Uptown. The inspiration, the hustle, the culture, the woman I am today. And to bring a piece of that world into the Forbes Power Women’s Summit felt surreal.

Thank you, @forbes for creating space for women founders like me to share our stories, our businesses, and the worlds we’ve worked so hard to build. Thank you for allowing By Lolita to be part of such a powerful room filled with incredible women. This is a moment I’ll never forget. 💕
